Arrival to Tbilisi, transfer to the hotel of your choice and accommodation.
In the evening you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and start your personal discovery of Georgia with a city tour of its capital city, Tbilisi. First stop will be at glorious Sameba – the main cathedral and the tallest religious building of the country. Next stop is Metekhi Church located in the neighborhood of the same name and gracefully situated on a cliff above Mtkvari river. Your guide will then take you to the new Rike Park to admire the view and perhaps take a few photos in front of The Bridge of Peace, a stunning modern structure designed by Italian architects and one of the new symbols of the city.
One of the highlights of the day is a visit to Narikala – the capital’s ancient fortress, where the stunning views over the city will open out before you. You’ll be whisked to the top in a cable car and after your visit will wander down by foot through the narrow and historic streets of the Old Town, among them the newly renovated Shardeni kucha – the street which never sleeps, and one of Tbilisi’s nighttime hot spots.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and departure to the Eastern part of Georgia – the wine region Kakheti. You will go through Gombori Pass, a stop near fortress Ujarma – nowadays only ruins are left from this once glorious structure which used to be a residence of the Georgian monarchs in the early Middle Ages. Thereafter you will visit New Shuamta – the monastery complex and Alaverdi Monastery. Here at local café House of Matsoni you’ll taste Matsoni, the most healthful of all yogurts! It is smooth and creamy and somewhat viscous with a mild, slightly tart savor. Proceed to Gremi, is a 16th-century architectural monument – the royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels, was built by the King of Kakheti, Levan. The paintings were finished in 1577. Breakfast in the hotel. Check out. Arrival to Tsinandali, a noble estate and palace of the famous Chavchavadze family. This palace used to be an intellectual hub of Georgia and the estate itself is built in a European style, surrounded by English gardens. Wine degustation.
After move on to the highlight of today’s tour Signagi, the so-called “city of love”.
Here at the wine cellar you’ll have degustation of wine and Georgian vodka Chacha.
After visit Bodbe nunnery- a significant pilgrimage site in Georgia due to its association with St Nino.
