DAY 1 Arrival to Kutaisi. Tour to Prometheus cave, hotel accommodation
Arrival to Kutaisi, meeting with your driver. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation.
DAY 2 Excursion to Kutaisi sights, transfer to Tbilisi, visit Uplistsikhe
Breakfast in the hotel. Check out. Meeting with guide. You’ll visit Bagrati Cathedral built in the 11th century during the reign of King Bagrat III, who unified Georgian regions into one kingdom. Then discover famous Prometheus Cave with local guide, where you can find a very special form of stalactites, stalagmites, petrified stone waterfalls and hanging curtains, underground river and lakes – all this on a nice 1.4km walk in mysterious and cool atmosphere.
Proceed to Gelati monastery is a masterpiece of the Golden Age of medieval Georgia, a period of political strength and economic growth between the 11th and 13th centuries. The Gelati monastery, one of the largest medieval Orthodox monasteries, was also a center of science and education and the Academy it housed was one of the most important centers of culture in ancient Georgia.

DAY 3 Excursion to Tbilisi and Mtskheta
Breakfast in the hotel. Start of Tbilisi city tour. First stop will be at glorious Sameba – the main cathedral and the tallest religious building of the country. Visit to Metekhi Church located in the neighborhood of the same name and gracefully situated on a cliff above Mtkvari River. Your guide will then take you to the new Rike Park to admire the view and perhaps take a few photos in front of The Bridge of Peace, a stunning modern structure designed by Italian architects and one of the new symbols of the city. One of the highlights of the day is a visit to Narikala – the capital’s ancient fortress, where the stunning views over the city will open out before you. You’ll be whisked to the top in a cable car and after your visit will wander down by foot through the narrow and historic streets of the Old Town, among them the newly renovated Shardeni street – the street which never sleeps, and one of Tbilisi’s nighttime hot spots. Walking to Legvtakhevi gorge, where you’ll see the waterfall. Then under the tunnel Meidanbazar you will have opportunity to buy Georgian sauces and spices. Free time to have a lunch.
Departure to city Mtskheta – the old, legendary capital of Georgia, just 20 km from Tbilisi. The historic capital of Eastern Georgia (Kartli) and set at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi Rivers, Mtskheta has remained at the spiritual heart of Georgia since Christianity was established. You’ll visit Jvari Monastery (Monastery of the Cross), previously a pagan temple and latterly turned into Christian church. Perched on a windblown, rocky promontory, take some time to enjoy the exceptional scenery and take some photos of this amazing UNESCO world heritage listed structure. The Svetitskhoveli cathedral remains at the center of the Orthodox church. There is a legend that a seamless robe of Christ’s is buried somewhere within the temple and you’ll find fragments of paintings dating back to the 11th century, including one depicting a hand which stories tell is the hand of the cathedrals architect which king Giorgi amputated to stop him making another cathedral as beautiful as Svetitskhoveli.
Drive back to Tbilisi, transfer to the hotel. Free time.
In the evening transfer to Georgian restaurant to have delicious dinner with folk show.

DAY 4 Tour to Kakheti: Telavi, Alaverdi and Ikalto monasteries, visit cheese factory
Breakfast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel and departure to the Eastern part of Georgia – the wine region Kakheti. We will go through Gombori Pass and visit Alaverdi monastery which was founded in the 6th century by an Assyrian monk named Joseph Alaverdeli, standing tall and solitary amidst the stunning Greater Caucasus Mountains, feels like stepping into paradise it was the highest region architecture building in Georgian till Sameba cathedral in Tbilisi have been built. After in Telavi you’ll visit Georgian cheese factory. Here you will have opportunity to taste 3 sort of cheese and see how they are making with Georgian traditions. After visit Ikalto monastery with ruins of academy, was founded by Saint Zenon, one of the 13 Assyrian Fathers, in the late 6th century. It was known as one of the most significant cultural-scholastic centers of Georgia. An academy was founded at the monastery during king David the Builder by Arsen Ikaltoeli.

DAY 5 Tour to Kakheti: Tsinandali, city Signagi
Breakfast in the hotel. Check out.
Stop in the palace of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze in Tsinandali, unique park and winery. Here we will have the best wine tasting (3 sorts). We’ll then move on to the highlight of today’s tour – Signagi, the so-called “city of love”. Packed full of 19th century architecture Signagi resembles an Italian city with its Mediterranean-style colorful, small houses and narrow old streets. With views over the Alazani valley to the Caucasus on the horizon the town is a very pleasant place to while away an afternoon.
Drive back to Tbilisi, accommodation, free evening.
DAY 6 Transfer to Batumi by train
Early check out. 07:00 Transfer to Tbilisi Railway station for taking train Tbilisi-Batumi.
12:30 Arrival to Batumi, transfer to chosen hotel category, free day.
DAY 7 Free day in Batumi (Optional excursions)
Breakfast in the hotel. 12:00 Check out. Free day.

DAY 8 Transfer to Kutaisi airport. Departure
