DAY 1 Arrival to Tbilisi
Arrival to Tbilisi, Transfer to the hotel of your choice and accommodation.
DAY 2 Tour to Telavi
Breakfast in the hotel.
Check out from the hotel and departure to the Eastern part of Georgia – the wine region Kakheti. You will go through Gombori Pass, visit New Shuamta – the monastery complexes. Arrival to Telavi, which is the center of Georgian winemaking. Here you’ll visit King Erekle II palace (Batonis Tsikhe), served as the residence of Kakhetian Kings between 17th and 18th century. The castle encloses two churches, the ruins of a royal bathhouse, and the Persian style Palace of King Erekle.
Accommodation at the guest house in Telavi, dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 Transfer to Omalo, visit villages Keselo, Gometsari and Dochu
After breakfast, сheck out. Drive to Tusheti by Jeep. On the way you’ll visit Alaverdi monastery, at the beginning of the 11th century, when Georgia was entering its cultural and political golden age, King Kvirike of Kakheti had this majestic cathedral built.
Proceed to Omalo. Arrive and accommodation at the guest house.
After a short rest you’ll visit Keselo castles and then arrive to Gometsari valley to see amazing village – Dochu. In Gometsari gorge this village is the most beautiful with it‘s interesting architecture.
After dinner and overnight in Omalo.
DAY 4 Visit villages Dartlo, Dano, Kvavlo, Chesho and Parsma
After breakfast you’ll depart to Pirikiti valley to see the villages: Dartlo, Dano, Kvavlo, Chesho and Parsma. You’ll have lunch in nature.
At about 7 pm you’ll arrive back to guest house, where you will have dinner and free time to relax.
DAY 5 Visit villages Shenako and Diklo, transfer to Tbilisi
Breakfast in the guest house. Check out. Visiting villages Shenako and Diklo. In Diklo you will see the Pichekhi Castle, which is standing at the border of Russian Federation.
After all you’ll drive back to Tbilisi. On the way in wine region Kakheti, visit wine cellar, where you’ll have excursion and degustation of Georgian wines. Arrival to Tbilisi. Jeep tour in Tusheti is finished. (Drive duration for the whole day is 250 km). Accommodation at the hotel in Tbilisi.
DAY 6 Departure
Breakfast in the hotel.
Check-out. Transfer to Tbilisi international airport.
(Upon request, transfer to Kutaisi international airport for additional payment)
