DAY 1 Arrival to Tbilisi. Transfer to the hotel.
Arrival to Tbilisi, meeting with driver, group transfer to the hotel. Free evening.
DAY 2 Excursion to Mtskheta and Tbilisi, transfer to Kutaisi
After breakfast, check out. Meeting with guide, start your personal discovery of Georgia with a city tour of its
capital city, Tbilisi. Walking tour to Metekhi Church located in the neighborhood of the same name and
gracefully situated on a cliff above Mtkvari river. Your guide will then take you to the new Rike Park to admire
the view and perhaps take a few photos in front of The Bridge of Peace, a stunning modern structure
designed by Italian architects and one of the new symbols of the city. One of the highlights of the day is a visit
to Narikala – the capital’s ancient fortress, where the stunning views over the city will open out before you.
You’ll be whisked to the top in a cable car and after your visit will wander down by foot through the narrow and
historic streets of the Old Town, among them the newly renovated Shardeni – the street which never sleeps,
and one of Tbilisi’s nighttime hot spots. Walking to Legvtakhevi gorge, where you’ll see the waterfall.
Lunch at the wine cellar, where you’ll have degustation of Georgian wine and vodka chacha. Also master
classes of one Georgian dish.
Departure to Mtskheta – the old, legendary capital of Georgia, just 20km from the city center. You’ll visit
Jvari Monastery (Monastery of the Cross), previously a pagan temple and latterly turned into Christian
church. Perched on a windblown, rocky promontory, take some time to enjoy the exceptional scenery and take
some photos of this amazing UNESCO world heritage listed structure. The Svetitskhoveli cathedral remains at
the center of the Orthodox church.
Transfer to Kutaisi, accommodation at the guest house with dinner.
DAY 3 Transfer to Mestia, excursion to Dadiani palace in Zugdidi
After breakfast, check out. Departure to Zugdidi, where we will visit elegant ancestral palace – museum of
Megrelian dukes Dadiani, which is one of Georgia’s most beautiful examples of 19th century architecture.
The complex was built primarily by Russian architect Leonid Vassilyev. It includes the palace of Ekaterine
Chavchavadze-Dadiani, the last queen of Samegrelo, a residence for her son Niko Dadiani, a monastery, and a
large garden, which is now known as Zugdidi Botanical Garden.
Then visit to Enguri reservoir. Departure to Svaneti. Arrival to Mestia. Dinner and overnight here.
DAY 4 Excursion in Mestia
Breakfast in the guest house.
Visit The Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography. There are six halls of permanent exhibitions
encompassing manuscripts from the 9th-18th centuries, unique icons, archaeological and ethnographic items.
Then you’ll see magnificent medieval Svan towers.

Departure towards Ushguli by 4Х4 jeep, located at the foot of the mountain Shkhara. Ancient castles stand
proudly in front of the highest peak in Georgia-Shkhara. After excursion, drive back to Mestia.
Dinner and overnight in Mestia
DAY 5 Visit Martvili canyons and Prometheus cave, transfer to Kutaisi
After breakfast, check out. Transfer to Kutaisi.
On the way the first stop will be in Martvili canyons. It used to be a bath place for Georgian Nobles, Dadiani
family. Now it represents a touristic site. People visit it to enjoy the scenery, its waterfalls and take a boat trip
in the river with deep green color. Visitors can enjoy 300-meter boat tour on river Abasha and beautiful views
of mountain river canyon. (Boat trip for extra fee 9 USD PP).
The second stop will be cave Prometheus, one of Georgia’s natural wonders. The cave was discovered in
1984 and includes stalactites and stalagmites as well as many rivers. Lit with lovely illuminations visitors can
enjoy petrified waterfalls and beautiful rock formations in the 6 cave complex. You will walk along a well laid
path for about 1000m to the sound of quiet classical music which adds to the magical atmosphere in this
beautiful place. Arrival to Kutaisi, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
DAY 6 Excursion to Park Borjomi, Uplistiskhe. Transfer to Tbilisi
After breakfast, check out. Transfer to Tbilisi.
On the way stop to experience resort town of Borjomi. Borjomi is an incredibly beautiful place, located in a
lush valley of the Mtkvari River and famous for its spring water and Romanov Summer palace, Likani.
Free time to visit Borjomi park and to drink famous Borjomi water.
Then not far from city Gori visit Uplistsikhe – an impressive cave-city in the Eastern Georgia, which was a
significant cultural center before the Christian era. Name Uplistsikhe literally means “The God’s Castle”. Step
back in time as you wander the caves, passing temples, which predate Christianity, pagan sacrificial sites,
bakeries, an amphitheater and a Christian basilica.
Arrival to Tbilisi, hotel accommodation.
DAY 7 Free day (optional excursions)
Breakfast in the hotel. Free day.

DAY 8 Group transfer to Kutaisi
Breakfast in the hotel
Check-out. Group transfer to Tbilisi airport.
