Georgia-Azerbaijan
glorious Sameba – the main cathedral and the tallest religious building of the country. Another “must see
place” for today is Metekhi Church located in the neighborhood of the same name, gracefully situated on a
cliff above Mtkvari river. Your guide will take you to the new Rike Park to make a photo-stop on The Bridge
of Peace which is a modern structure designed by Italian architects and recently became one of the new
symbols of the city.
One of the highlights for today is a visit to Narikala – ancient fortress, where the stunning views over the city
will be opened for you. You will go up on the comfortable cable car and get down by foot through the narrow
and authentic streets of the Old Town, among them the newly renovated Shardeni kucha – the street which
never sleeps, an entertainment cluster of Tbilisi.
Visit Georgian national museum. By Funicular drive up mountain Mtatsminda, free time to take photos of
beautiful view of Tbilisi. Transfer to the hotel, in the evening transfer to restaurant to have dinner. After drive
back to the hotel
Jvari, which is standing on the top of the mountain. Ananuri is the seat of the Dukes of Argavi, a dynasty
which ruled the area during the middle ages and saw many battles won and lost. Remaining occupied by
various Dukes and Kings until the early 19th century the complex included two fortifications and two churches,
one of which, the Church of Assumption contains the remains of frescos, most of which were destroyed in a fire
in the 18th century. Later on we will visit the pride of many Georgians – the ski resort Gudauri, located at an
altitude of 2195m. With kilometers of ski runs, the cheapest ski passes in Europe and sun drenched south
facing slopes the resort offers fabulous terrain for beginners and advanced skiers alike. In summer hiking,
horse riding, birdwatching and climbing are some of the many activities on offer. Here at local family you will
have lunch with Georgian wine and master classes of Georgian cuisine.
Finally, we will go up the mountain and enjoy the breath-taking views from the Gergety Trinity Church –
built in medieval time the church is located on the slope of Mount Kazbek with the Caucus Mountains rising in
the background. The only cross-cupola church in Khevi, photos of the church and detached bell-tower have
become symbols of Georgia, inspiring travelers to from across the world to visit Georgia. In the evening drive
back to Tbilisi.

After arrival to Baku, hotel accommodation
Martyrs' Lane and connects the city center by funicular. A beautiful panoramic view of the city and the Baku
Bay opens from the park. Baku’s Highland Park, has undergone some major reconstructions. It has been
around for quite some time, being first built in the 1940s. As the pictures below show, park opens a terrific

Structures in Azerbaijan is the Shirvanshah Palace complex dating to the middle XV.
The two-story building of the palace consists of about fifty different rooms of various sizes and shapes
connected by three narrow spiral staircases. Juma mosque or mosque in the Icheri-sheher has been
functioning since the 12th century. This mosque was built in 1899 at the funds of Baku philanthropist Khadja
Shikhali Dadashev. In the 14th century pagan temple was converted into a mosque. According to the
inscription on the Mosque, "in the month of Rajab in the year 709 Hijri (1309) Ami r Sharaf al-Din Mahmud
ordered to update this mosque." Walking to Nizaam street, free time for shopping.
After transfer to the hotel.
UNESCO Heritage site. There you will witness the mud volcanoes and visit the Petroglyph Museum, which
contains an exhibition of Gobustan petroglyphs.
After proceed to the Temple of Eternal Fire – Ateshgah, which is an authentic Azerbaijani exotic. It is well-
known practically all over the world. It is located 30 km from the center of Baku in the suburb of Surakhany.
This territory is known for such unique natural phenomenon as burning natural gas outlets (underground gas
coming onto surface contacts oxygen and lights up). The temple in its present state was constructed in the
17th-18th centuries. It was built by the Baku-based Hindu community related to Sikhs. Procced to Yanar Dag
(Azerbaijani: Yanar Dağ, meaning "burning mountain") is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a
hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku. After drive back to the hotel in Baku.
