DAY 1 Arrival to Tbilisi, transfer
Arrival to Tbilisi, meeting with your driver and guide at the arrival hall of the airport. Meeting sign: “Capital Georgia Travel”, transfer to hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 2 Tour to Mtskheta and Tbilisi
After breakfast, you’ll departure to city Mtskheta – the old, legendary capital of Georgia, just 20km from the city center. The historic capital of Eastern Georgia (Kartli) and set at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi Rivers, Mtskheta has remained at the spiritual heart of Georgia since Christianity was established. You’ll visit
Jvari Monastery (Monastery of the Cross), previously a pagan temple and latterly turned into Christian
church. Perched on a windblown, rocky promontory, take some time to enjoy the exceptional scenery and take
some photos of this amazing UNESCO world heritage listed structure. The Svetitskhoveli cathedral remains
at the center of the Orthodox church. Legend has it that a seamless robe of Christ’s is buried somewhere
within the temple and you’ll find fragments of paintings dating back to the 11th century, including one
depicting a hand which stories tell is the hand of the cathedrals architect which king Giorgi amputated to stop
him making another cathedral as beautiful as Svetitskhoveli.
Drive back to Tbilisi. City tour. First stop will be at glorious Sameba – the main cathedral and the tallest
religious building of the country. Next is Metekhi Church located in the neighborhood of the same name and
gracefully situated on a cliff above Mtkvari river. Your guide will then take you to the new Rike Park to admire
the view and perhaps take a few photos in front of The Bridge of Peace, a stunning modern structure
designed by Italian architects and one of the new symbols of the city. One of the highlights of the day is a visit
to Narikala – the capital’s ancient fortress, where the stunning views over the city will open out before you.
You’ll be whisked to the top in a cable car and after your visit will wander down by foot through the narrow and
historic streets of the Old Town, among them the newly renovated Shardeni kucha – the street which never
sleeps, and one of Tbilisi’s nighttime hot spots.
After excursion transfer to the hotel.
DAY 3 Tour to Kakheti: Ujarma, Telavi, transfer to Lopota resort
Breakfast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel and departure to the Eastern part of Georgia – the wine region Kakheti. We will go through Gombori Pass. Stop to Telavi, which is the centre of Georgian winemaking.
Here you’ll visit King Erekle II palace (Batonis Tsikhe), served as the residence of Kakhetian Kings between
17th and 18th century. The castle encloses two churches, the ruins of a royal bathhouse, and the Persian style
Palace of King Erekle.
Proceed to Lopota lake resort. Accommodation. Lunch in the hotel until 16 00. Free time.
Lopota Lake Resort & Spa is located on the private lakeside. Featuring a deluxe spa and offering an extensive
Great Caucasus Mountain Range or Lopota Lake view, the property is 26 km from Telavi town. Meals are
cooked from local organic products and served in all day dining restaurant and kakhetian corner featuring
Georgian traditional live-cooking. There is also a wine tasting terrace with a view of the lake.
Lopota Lake Resort & Spa offers 4 swimming pools and a relaxing area.
For extra pay: The Adventure Center offers a wide range of activities, including horse riding, quad bike tours,
Mini-golf and fishing. Bike rental is also available on-site.

DAY 4 Free day
Breakfast in the hotel.
Free day for relax in Lopota lake resort. Lunch and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 5 Tour to Kekheti: Nekresi, Kvareli, transfer to Tbilisi
Breakfast in the hotel. Check out. Drive for excursion to Nekresi Monastery. The first church you come to is a three-church basilica from the 8th and 9th centuries, with a plan unique to early Georgian churches.
After excursion you’ll visit winery “Kindzmarauli Corporation”, here you will taste Georgian wine. Drive back
to Tbilisi, accommodation.
In the evening transfer to Georgian restaurant to have dinner with folk show. After dinner transfer back to the
hotel.
DAY 6 Excursion to Borjomi, transfer to Bakuriani
After breakfast, check out. Drive to Bakuriani. The mountain resort Bakuriani is situated on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range, at an elevation of 1,700 meters (5576 feet) above sea level in the sub-tropical zone. The snow blanket remains for 4-5 months but in the summer the aroma of the coniferous trees and other climatic
factors create ideal conditions for rest and recreation.
On the way you’ll stop to visit park Borjomi. Borjomi is a hydrothermal health spa resort in the southern
region of Samskhe-Javakheti in Georgia. Borjomi has an international reputation for its geothermal spring
mineral water resources. Free time in park to drink Borjomi. After you’ll go up with cable car to the nearest
small mountain to enjoy views of Borjomi.
Arrival to Bakuriani, accommodation.
DAY 7 Free day in Bakuriani
Breakfast in the hotel.
Free day in Bakuriani to relax on mountain resort with fresh air.
DAY 8 Departure
Breakfast in the hotel.
Check-out. Transfer to Tbilisi international airport. (Upon request transfer to Kutaisi international airport
for extra pay)
