CHALAADI AND USHBA GLACIERS

Distance: 15km

Meeting with the owner of horse near your hotel, starting from here, you will ride a horse till the glaciers.
The road goes along the Mestiachala, from where a rocky path begins. 2 kilometers of the route are divided into three sectors: a forest area, a section of sparse woodland and a section where there is an almost tundra.
By the end of the route, you will see the amazing Chalaadi and Ushba Glacier.
After the tour ride back to Mestia.

KORULDI LAKES

Meeting with the owner of horse near your hotel. The horses will take you to the foot of Becho village, where one of 11 Svaneti societies is located in the historical region of Upper Svaneti, on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus Ridge, along the upper stream of the Inguri River, once represented the family ownership of Georgian princes of Dadeshkiliani.
Ride to lakes-3 km.
From both Koruldi Lakes there are beautiful views, you will see the villages of Zemo Svaneti and the Enguri Valley, as well as Shkhara, Tetnuldi, Ushba, Laila and other peaks.
After the tour ride back to Mestia.

MEZIRI MEADOW

Meeting with driver in Mestia, transfer to village Mazeri by jeep. From here, you will ride a horse till village Meziri. Meziri is an alpine meadow over Mazeri, with a lake, a 10th century church devoted to the Archangel Michael and a spectacular view of Ushba and the Svaneti Range. Also you can ride up to Meziri and even a little higher, to Baki pass, to peep over into the neighboring valley where Etseri Community is located.
Ride back to Mazeri, transfer to Mestia by car.

Meeting with your guide in Ushguli, starting ride to Shkhara. You ride out of Ushguli, pass Lamaria monastery to the north-east and follow Enguri river upstream. The horse trail finishes right near the glacier. After you should ride back to Ushguli.

STEPANTSMINDA (KAZBEGI) SURRONDINGS

Start from: Stepantsminda
Difficulty: Easy

A horse ride on the Sour Waters accompanied by a local guide. The route goes from Stepantsminda through the village of Gergeti. On the way you will see amazing Caucasus mountain views, the final destination is – Panshet mineral waters and a pool at an altitude of 1747 m. If you wish, there is also possible to swim.
Ride back to Stepantsminda.

BORJOMI-KHARAGAULI NATIONAL PARK-Likani valley

Start from: National park administrative center in Borjomi
Difficulty: Average

Covering more than 85,000 hectares of native forest and alpine meadows, the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park is a protected area located 160 km from Tbilisi in the central part of Georgia and includes 3 regions: Imereti, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Shida Kartli. One of the largest national parks in Georgia, it covers six administrative districts stretching from the resort of Borjomi to the town of Kharagauli. Together with adjacent Borjomi Nature Reserve, the total area is 851 km2, more than 1% of the total territory of Georgia.
The circular trail starts from Likani ranger station located 5 km away from National Park Visitor Center and finishes at the Likani settlement. Total length of the route is 7 km. The trail passes the Chitakhevi ridge. While riding you can enjoy panoramic views of Borjomi gorge.

TBILISI NATIONAL PARK- Mamkoda Zedazeni trail

Riding duration: 6-7 h
Start from: Tbilisi
Difficulty: Average

In the morning meeting with your driver, transfer to village Mamkoda (30 min. drive).
The trail begins in Mamkoda, further through the valley of Vejini and goes towards Didveli (1440 m). Here you can enjoy panoramic views of Mtkvari River.
Riding to Zedazeni monastery, which was built in VII-VIII centuries. From this trail you will see view of city Mtskheta, Jvari monastery, Caucasus mountains. Further trail proceed to the village Saguramo.
After the riding, drive back to Tbilisi.
