Tbilisi – Kakheti: Sighnaghi and Bodbe – Armenia (Yerevan city tour, Matenadaran, Tsitsernakaberd, Northern Avenue, Cascade, Republic square, Echmiadzin, Sevan lake, Tsakhkadzor, Brandy Factory) – Tbilisi – Mtskheta-Tbilisi
Day 1. Arrival to Tbilisi, transfer from the airport and hotel accommodation. In the evening dinner at the restaurant with traditional Georgian dishes and wine. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2. Breakfast in a hotel. City tour in Tbilisi. В Sameba Cathedral, Metekhi church (XIII century). Thereafter familiarization with old city and taking a walk along famous streets Sharden and Leselidze. Visiting Bridge of Peace. After we will have car route across central street вЂ“ Rustaveli Ave and restored Marjanishvili Str. Visiting Rike park. Later on we are going up by cable route to fortress “Narikala”. Free evening. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 3. Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to the western part of Georgia вЂ“ Kakheti, wine region. Tour in Sighnaghi- city of love. Wine cellar with tasting different sorts of wine and Georgian vodka вЂ“ chacha. Visiting traditional Georgian peasant family, where guests will have opportunity to get acquainted with the technology of processing wool, technology of knitting carpets and tapestries, rope dyeing with natural dyes. Try the tastiest Kakhetian dishes + tasting honey and homemade white wine. Return to Tbilisi. Transfer to railway station (train Tbilisi- Yerevan) Departure at 20:20. Overnight in the train.
Day 4. Early arrival in Yerevan (07:00). Transfer to the hotel. City tour: visit to Matenadaran (repository of ancient manuscripts), walking in the park Tsitsernakaberd (Armenian Genocide Museum – this monumental composition perpetuates the memory of the innocent victims of the most severe in the worlds history genocide of Armenian people).Free time. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 5. Breakfast in the hotel. A trip to the ancient capital of Armenia – Vagarshapat. Visiting Katolikasat – residence of the head of the Armenian Apostolic church, St. Echmiadzin Cathedral. Return to Yerevan. Visit to Yerevan Brandy Factory. Tasting all the sorts of brandy (included in the tour price). Free time. Walking through the night Yerevan (the Northern Avenue , the Square Republic, Opera and Ballet Theatre – one of the main attractions of the city of Yerevan, monuments to poet O. Tumanyan and composer A.Spendiaryanu, Swan Lake and Cascade). Free time. Overnight in the hotel.
Day Breakfast in the hotel.Trip to the resort town of Tsakhkadzor. В Visiting Kecharis monastery complex, Mount Teghenis (by cable route – optional), Lake Sevan – the “golden pearl of Armenia”, monastery complex on the Sevan peninsula with the magnificent panorama. Transfer to the railway station. Night in the Yerevan-Tbilisi train.
Day 7. Arrival in Tbilisi (08:00). Departure to “Mtskheta” вЂ“ ancient town.В В Visit to Cathedral Svetitskhoveli (XII century), Monastery Samtavro (XI century). Going up to the monastery Jvari (V century), where you will enjoy beautiful view of an ancient capital. Here, in Mtskheta we will visit wine cellar of national peasant family, testing Georgian wine and chacha + lessons of Georgian cuisine. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 8. Breakfast in the hotel. Free time. Check out. Transfer to the airport. Completion of service and happy return home.
