Tbilisi – Kakheti (Sighnaghi and Bodbe) – Azerbaijan (Baku, Icheri Shehaer, Yanardag, Gobustan)-Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi



Day 1. Arrival to Tbilisi, transfer from the airport and hotel accommodation. City tour in Tbilisi. Sameba Cathedral. Thereafter familiarization with old city and taking a walk along famous streets Sharden and Leselidze. Visiting Bridge of Peace. After we will have car route across central street – Rustaveli Ave and restored Marjanishvili Str.. Visiting Rike park. Later on we are going up by cable route to fortress “Narikala”. Free evening. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 2. Breakfast in a hotel. After dance lesson, departure to the western part of Georgia – Kakheti, wine region. Tour in Sighnaghi- city of love. Wine cellar with tasting different sorts of wine and Georgian vodka – chacha. Return to Tbilisi. Transfer to railway station (train Tbilisi- Baku) Departure at 17:30. Overnight in the train.

Day 3. Arrival to Baku in 10:05. Transfer to the hotel and 4*hotel accommodation. (hotel in the city center). Check in 14:00 am. Free day. Overnight in the hotel

Day 4. Breakfast in the hotel. City- tour – “ancient and modern attractions of Baku”: “Old Town (Inner city),” Maiden Tower, Shirvanshakhs Palace, Synyk Gala Castle, Caravan Saray, Juma Mosque.Free evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5. Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion:” Burning Mountain – Yanardag. Excursion:” Burning Mountain – Yanardag”, Temple of Fire Worshippers , Surahani , locks Markadan , Ramani , Shagan , Nardaran. Free time. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6. Breakfast in the hotel. Free day to enjoy amazing Baku.

Day 7. Breakfast in the hotel. Visit Ethnographic Museum Complex and Gala Archeological – Ethnographic Museum Complex. It was created on the initiative and with the direct participation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. There is complex of 5 mosques, 3 baths, 4 ovdans, houses, agricultural buildings, burial vaults, burial mounds, remnants of the fortress, etc. Free time. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 8. Breakfast in the hotel. Check out 12:00. Visit to Gobustan national park. Here you will see houses of ancient people, rock carvings dating back about 10,000 years. Walking through the Baku bay and visit the shopping and entertainment center Park Bulvar. Excursion on a pleasure boat with amazing views. Transfer to the Railway station of Baku. At 20:45 train Baku-Tbilisi (4-berth compartment). Overnight in train.

Day 9. Arrival to Tbilisi at 12:30. Transfer to the hotel. Free day. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 10. Breakfast in a hotel. Departure to Western Gerigia. First stop is “Mtskheta” – ancient town. Visit to Cathedral Svetitskhoveli (XII century), Monastery Samtavro (XI century). Going up to the monastery Jvari (V century), where you will enjoy beautiful view of an ancient capital. Here, in Mtskheta we will visit wine cellar of national peasant family, testing Georgian wine and chacha + lessons of Georgian cuisine. Departure to Gori, place of birth of Joseph Stalin. Visit of house-museum of Stalin. Later on excursion to ancient rock-hewn town Uplistsikhe. In the evening arrival to Tbilisi. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 11. Breakfast in a hotel. Check out. Transfer to the airport. Completion of service and happy return home
